Celebration & Education for Black History Month

The event is to be jointly organised by the School of Trade Union Education at College of North East London, GMB London Region Race Committee and Haringay Council: New Deal for Communities Programme. It is free of charge and open to all union members and families.

Saturday 16th October 2004, 12 noon - 4pm

Discussions / Workshops:

· Black workers and trade unions - by School of Trade Union Education CoNEL

· The struggle against racism & fascism - by UNITE against Racism

· Women Trafficking - by Anti-Slavery International

· Recent anti-racist employment tribunal victories by Movement for Justice

· Drama Presentation by Anti Racist Alliance Theatre Group

· Live music by Steel Band

· Stalls by various organisations

· Hot Food
